October 2012 Spotlight Sister
This sister was born in Baltimore, Md. where she lived for one year. She spent the rest of her childhood in Yakima, Wash. and Nampa, Idaho until she was a freshman in high school when she moved with her family to Jerome, Idaho. She is the second child in her family and has four brothers and one sister. After graduating from high school, she attended ISU in Pocatello and then transferred to the University of Idaho in Moscow, graduating with a teaching degree in special education. She was friends with her husband in high school, wrote to him on his mission, and married him seven months after he returned home from his mission. They lived in Boise, Idaho until a job brought them to Montana. They have lived in Lolo, Stevensville, and Florence and have attended the Stevensville 2nd Ward for nearly nine years. Blessed with five children, they have two girls and three boys. When she is not teaching her own children (who are home-schooled), she is working in the scouting program or teaching music in Primary. She is a fantastic teacher, especially with the middle school-age group. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-stitching and reading, and her Kindle is usually within reach. She is a fabulous mother and wife, and we are fortunate to have her in our ward. Who is she? (Click on the comments below to find out.)
