The book can be purchased at Stoneydale Press, 523 Main Street or Valley Drug. You might want to buy one or pass yours on to a grandchild who is looking for a career. You will love the book. See you there. Ila Marie

Humanitarian Service Project WAS a Success!

We had a great turnout!  Lots of great ladies came to help make blankets.  THANK YOU!!! to all those who donated fabric and money.  Also thanks to all those who brought finger food and cutting tools.  We ended up making 42 Blankets! We had a few Activity Day girls come and help with childcare and at the end of the day they jumped in to make some blankets.

Book Club February 8th, 2011

Dale Burke, publisher and writer of the introduction to Lewis and Clark in the Bitterroot, will be at the Book Club on February 8th at 7 p.m. to talk with us about the book and especially  about how the Salish Indians replied to writings by the white men in the Bitterroot.  Look forward to seeing you there whether you have read the book or not.  The books are available at Stoneydale Press, 523 Main Street.  I go in the door right across the street from the old IGA store.  Also Sherry, my daughter, made Lewis and Clark bookmarks for everyone.  See you there.  Ila Marie
